James and Arthur remain at the top of the market as the two most likely names for the Royal Baby.

Royal fans are hoping that Kensington Palace will make an announcement imminently.

But until then Arthur remains at the top of the pile and has been the most popular selection overnight and into Wednesday morning at odds of 11/4.

James remains a strong selection with punters and follows close behind at 4/1.

Alexander has also been backed this morning and is now in to 5/1 from 10/1 earlier in the day.

The chances of a new baby Philip have lengthened somewhat to 10/1, while we go 12/1 that the sprog is christened Henry.

Leroy and Caden remain the long-odds outsiders at 500/1 apiece.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Another surge of bets have come in for Arthur and he remains the favourite at 11/4, but James is still an incredibly popular bet and it seems like punters can’t quite seem to make their mind up between the two monikers.”

She added: “The initial enthusiasm for Charles, Philip and Michael appears to be fading, with punters possibly believing they would be middle names rather than the first one.”
