Coventry v Exeter tips: Sky Blues to get Wembley win

Coventry City and Exeter City both have plenty at stake in Saturday’s League Two play-off final.

After a tough few years, Coventry have the chance to start heading back towards where they feel they belong.

And after suffering heartbreak at this stage last season, Exeter will be determined to get the job done this time.

Coventry come into the game as 5/4 favourites, with Exeter a 23/10 shot. The draw is at 21/10.

As well as the odds, recent history favours the Sky Blues too. Four of the last five League Two play-off finals have been won by the “home” side.

The last nine meetings between these two have also ended in a home win – a run stretching back to 1956.

With so much to play for, expect a cagey start. It’s 19/20 that the first-half ends with the teams level.

But after impressive attacking displays from both sides in their semi-final second legs, this could explode into life. Over 2.5 Goals is 5/4.

Coventry’s Marc McNulty finished the season as the second-highest-top scorer in League Two. He netted in both legs of the semi-final and has seven goals in his last six appearances. He’s 7/5 to keep it up with a goal here and 7/2 to score first.

Exeter will be looking to Jayden Stockley to fire them into League One. He’s 7/4 to add to his 20 goals this term. The Poole-born striker is 9/2 to open the scoring too.
