Exeter v Lincoln tips: It’s going to be tight at St James Park

Exeter City - St James Park

Exeter City host Lincoln City in their League Two play-off second leg tonight with a place at Wembley at stake.

Nothing could separate these sides in the 0-0 draw at Sincil Bank last weekend. Will home advantage swing the tie in Exeter’s favour? The home side has won five of the last seven meetings between these two.

Exeter are 9/5 to win on the night.

Lincoln are chasing back-to-back promotions here. History suggests they’ll be up against it. Only one of the last 32 teams that failed to win the semi-final first leg at home at this level have won promotion.

Despite that, we’ve got them as slight 33/20 favourites to win at St James Park. The draw is 2/1.

There wasn’t much between these sides in the first leg. With so much at stake, this one’s likely to have a cagey start.

You can get 13/10 on the first-half finishing 0-0. Following on from that, it’s 21/10 that the second-half produces the first goal.

We don’t expect there to be too many goals here though. Under 2.5 Goals is 4/7.

Jayden Stockley will be full of confidence after bagging 19 league goals for Exeter. He’s 4/1 to open the scoring.

The visitors will be looking to Matt Green to fire them into the final. He’s 19/10 to get on the scoresheet.
