John Bercow could be set to leave his job as Speaker of the House of Commons, according to our traders.

The Conservative MP has held the role since 2009 but faces a battle to remain following his latest controversy involving Andrea Leadsom.

He’s now 6/4 to depart from his role before the start of 2019.

Labour MP Sir Lindsay Hoyle is the favourite to replace the 55-year-old at 5/4.

He’s followed by Tory stalwart Jacob Rees-Mogg, who is a 5/1 shot alongside former Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Harriet Harman.

Chris Bryant is next at 8/1 in a field which also includes Michael Fabricant (33/1), Ed Miliband (50/1) and Michael Gove (100/1).
