Love Island Finalists Ladbrokes 2018

After eight weeks of drama, arguments and contestants laying it on extra thick, Love Island 2018 is almost over.

The sun-soaked series finale will take place at 9pm on Monday 30th July with an extended final episode on ITV2.

But who will walk away from the villa with the £50,000 first prize? And which couples will stay loyal to their partner?

We’ve rounded up all the key info ahead of what we’re billing as the real end of summer. Plus you can discover the latest Love Island odds here.

Love Island Favourite Couple

Since the start of the series, one couple has stood out above the rest.

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer – or Jani – have won the nation’s hearts after an initial rocky beginning.

They were the first couple to get into an official relationship and have grown to become the most likeable pairing in the villa.

Not even the revelation that Jack has a poster of a Danny Dyer film above his bed could dampen their romance. Now that’s true love.

The chemistry between them is infectious and reflected in the betting, with Jack and Dani now odds-on to walk into the sunset with the grand prize.

Love Island Finalists

Josh Denzel and Kazimir Crossley are also going strong after the former failed to stay loyal to Georgia Steel, dumping her for his new beau after spending time in Casa Amor.

They were voted the most attractive Love Island couple by the public. But do they have what it takes to win the entire show? You can bet on Josh and Kaz here.

Likewise Laura Anderson appears to have found her man in 31-year-old carpenter and model Paul Knops. The pair are the villa’s old heads. But will that count for anything with the viewers?

Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson are also long-odds to win the competition after being accused of ‘snaking’ their previous partners.

They may be in a relationship, but our traders don’t like their chances of winning the show.

Favourite Love Island female

With Jack and Dani so popular in the Couple Online Betting, it should come as no surprise that the daughter of Danny Dyer is also odds-on to finish up as Top Female.

And it’s easy to see why. She’s funny, a friend to all the other islanders and doesn’t take herself too seriously.

The 22-year-old is less controversial than last year’s female winner Amber Davies. But what she lacks in drama, she more than makes up for in wholesomeness.

Kaz is the only other female islander given a realistic chance of success, with Megan, Kas and Laura Anderson all seemingly not fancied by the public or the other islanders. Meow.

Favourite Love Island male

There aren’t too many comparisons to be draw between Jack and last year’s top male Kem Cetinay. But the fact they’re both from the Home Counties undoubtedly helps.

This year’s top male favourite has shed his playboy image and won an army of fans thanks to his impressions of other islanders and surprisingly attractive Dad bod.

Unlike partner Dani, though, he could face competition. Josh is still going strong with Kaz, and his bromance with Wes could give either of the lads a boost when it comes to the viewers vote.

Dr Alex George’s goose was cooked last night when the other islanders voted the unlucky in love medic out along with his partner Alexandra Cane. That leaves Paul as the only other male contestant in with a chance of upending odds-on shot Jack.

Memorable Love Island moments

Where do you start?

The boys adopting fake Yorkshire accents round the pool, Jack and Dani going shopping and Megan stealing Wes off Laura were all memorable moments.

And how could we forget the girls discussing Brexit and whether it’ll have a disastrous effect on trees?

But it was Georgia and Jack Fowler’s kiss-gate which gripped us most. Did the self-confessed loyalist make the first move, or did Jack actually plant a smacker on the lips while still dating Laura?

We’ll never truly know.

What are past islanders up to?

What lays in wait for the islanders in the real world after they’re booted out of the villa is one of the big questions. And word to the wise, not all Love Island relationships last.

Love Island 2017 winners Kem and Amber broke up in December of the same year, as did runners-up Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood.

All four were massively popular during last year’s show and have enjoyed plenty of showbiz success since exiting the villa.

Kem and Chris teamed up to release a grime single which charted at no.5, while the latter of the duo also appeared in Dancing on Ice.

Reality TV appearances, book deals, clothing partnerships and music careers are just some of the exciting opportunities that will likely be open to this year’s Love Island winners.
