ITV Racing Tips: Laurens to shine in the Sun Chariot Stakes?

Looking forward to the Arc? All eyes will be on Paris this Sunday for one of the biggest races in the calendar. But there’s still plenty of great racing to enjoy before then.
There’s action from Ascot, Newmarket and Redcar on ITV on Saturday, including the Sun Chariot Stakes. And we’ve got tips for all seven races right here…
NAP: Laurens – 3.15 Newmarket
Laurens has caught plenty of attention over this campaign. And it looks like the three-year-old is starting to come into her own.
She’s won each of her last three races over this distance, including the Fillies’ Mile last year.
After holding off Alpha Centauri to triumph in the Matron Stakes, she’ll be targeting another statement win here.
NB: First Eleven – 2.25 Ascot
First Eleven put on a poor showing in a Group 3 meeting at Newmarket in July. But that just looks to be a blemish on his recent record.
The John Gosden-trained colt should be right amongst it here. He won over course and distance last month and could claim another win if he fends off challenges from Communique and Laraaib.
Lively Longshot: Summer Daydream – 2.45 Redcar
After a comfortable win on her debut at Carlisle two weeks ago, there’s a sense that there’s much more to come from Keith Dalgleish’s filly.
Both of her races so far have come over 6f. If she can adapt to the shorter distance here, there’s every chance she can come home in first.
