Race heats up for this year’s Christmas number one

We could have the most wide-open race for the Christmas number one ever, according to our latest odds.  

Our traders have nine artists at 10/1 or shorter to be top of the charts on December 25th.

Ariana Grande leads the way at 2/1, with Ava Max now 4/1 second-favourite after a flurry of bets (was 25/1 last week).

Ed Sheeran is also 10/1 to top the festive charts for the second year running, level with Elton John and Queen.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “With so many big names at the head of the market for Christmas number one, this could well be the most wide-open race ever for top spot.”
