Arsenal legend Sol Campbell has barely got his feet under the table at Macclesfield Town but already our traders are pricing up his chances of managing England one day.

The 44-year-old is just 25/1 to take the reins at Wembley at some point in the future, while 16/1 says he eventually takes over at Arsenal.

Before that, though, Campbell faces his toughest task since the 2006 Champions League Final in attempting to keep Macclesfield in the Football League.

The Silkmen are rock-bottom of League Two with just two wins and 10 points to their name from the opening 19 matches of the season.

They’re currently 1/4 for relegation and an immediate return to the National League.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s a huge ask for ‘one of the greatest minds in football’, but if Sol Campbell can keep Macc in the Football League, he might just land himself a dream job further down the line.”
