Does Brexit mean Brexit? General Election now heavily fancied
Published:March 2019 is a date that has been in the calendar for some time now.
This is when Brexit – in whatever form, will seemingly take effect in the United Kingdom.
However with Theresa May under fire ahead of the Commons Vote tonight, our traders have made it 11/8 for a General Election to happen in 2019.
May is the favoured month at 8/1, and ahead of tonight’s outcome in the House of Commons, it’s heavily odds on at 1/40 to fail at the first attempt.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “If there is to be a heavy defeat in the Commons today, it’s safe to say the 11/8 on a snap election will shorten up even further.”
Only time will tell who leads us forward into a post-Brexit future.
