The dust has settled on another riveting weekend of sport. Premier League and La Liga drama was joined by Six Nations thrills and spills.

Sensational City stun Sarri’s sorry Chelsea
Liverpool fans were hoping that Chelsea could do them a favour away at Manchester City on Sunday. But Maurizio Sarri’s Blues couldn’t have been more hapless in a 6-0 trouncing.
Pep Guardiola’s reigning champions roared into a 4-0 lead inside 25 minutes with Sergio Aguero helping himself to a second Premier League hat-trick in seven days.

Cardiff win intensifies relegation scrap
Things couldn’t be much tighter at the other end of the table, either. Cardiff’s remarkable 2-1 win over Southampton on Saturday means just three points separate the Saints in 18th with Crystal Palace in 13th.
With Huddersfield Town (1/500 to go down) and Fulham (1/10) seemingly doomed, six teams are now fighting to avoid the final relegation spot.
The odds tell the story with 12 games to go. Cardiff remain the most likely to join Huddersfield and Fulham in the bottom three at 8/11, but Burnley (11/4) Newcastle (9/2) and Southampton (9/2) aren’t safe yet.
Real’s late La Liga bid continues…
Over in Spain, Real Madrid’s resurgence continued with a fine 3-1 win in the Madrid derby.
Goals from Casemiro, Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale (his 100th for Los Blancos) ensured victory at the WANDA Metropolitano.
The result takes Real above Diego Simeone’s Atleti into second place. And their weekend joy was complete when Athletic Bilbao held league leaders Barcelona to a 0-0 draw on Sunday night. After a dismal start to the season, Real are now just six behind their rivals, and are 11/2 to win the league.
England hammer France to continue Six Nations assault
Eddie Jones’ England are now 1/6 favourites to win the 2019 Six Nations after a fine 44-8 win over France.
Ireland claimed their first win of the tournament with a 22-13 success over Scotland on Saturday, before Wales edged Italy 26-15 in Rome.
Behind England in the betting, Wales are 5/1 to win the Six Nations, with Ireland now out at 11s. Are England on for a Grand Slam? Jones’ men are now odds-on at 5/6 to go win it all in the Six Nations, ahead of the 2019 World Cup later this year.
