Liz-tory? Elizabeth new favourite for Royal Baby name

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could name their first born after the Queen, if the latest odds are to be believed.

A flurry of bets have been placed on ‘Elizabeth’ in the last few days, forcing us to cut odds from 16/1 to 6/1 with the Duchess of Sussex expected to give birth any day now.

And according to the latest odds on exactly when Meghan will give birth, just 4/1 says the latest royal is born on the Queen’s birthday (April 21st).

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s no coincidence that punters backing the royal baby to be born on the Queen’s birthday are expecting Harry and Meghan to opt for ‘Elizabeth’ on the name front.”

“Meghan’s due date is desperately close to the Queen’s birthday and the stars might just align for the latest royal arrival.”
