Sadio Mane

Remember Liverpool’slast visit to Estadio de Dragao 12 months ago? Sadio Mane scored a hat-trick toall but send the Reds through to a first Champions League quarter-final since2009.

Jurgen Klopp’s men already have a foot-and-a-half in thesemi-finals this time around. Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino ensured that bystriking within 21 minutes of each other at Anfield last week.

Can the Reds get the job done in Portugal? Or will there be a sting in tail? We’ve previewed the second-leg clash in our Champions League Tips.

Match Odds

Liverpool are in red hot form at the moment. So it’s no surprise the Reds are 21/20 to follow up their victory at Bayern Munich in the last round with another win inside 90 minutes here.

Porto are no pushovers at home. But they’re out at 5/2, with the Draw priced at 12/5. Even a win might not be enoughfor the hosts, who are 10/1 toqualify, against 1/33 for Klopp andco.

The visitors are also available at 9/1 to record their third straight 2-0 victory in a row. =

Talking Tactics

Klopp will welcome back Andrew Robertson after the left-backmissed the first-leg through suspension. He’s the only likely change for theReds, who’ll line up in a 4-3-3 formation.

Jordan Henderson is expected to recover from a knock pickedup on Sunday to partner Fabinho and Naby Keita in midfield. Mo Salah, RobertoFirmino and Sadio Mane are the deadly trio up-front.

Porto need to go for it tonight. That could mean a start forAlgerian winger Yacine Brahimi on the left-hand side, with Francisco Soares andMoussa Marega retaining their spots in attack.

Hector Herrera and Pepe are also expected to return to the side after missing out at Anfield. They should provide the hosts with a much stronger spine against the rampant Reds.

Goalscorer Odds

Mane took a particular liking to this part of the Mediterranean 12 months ago. After hitting a hat-trick back then, we have him down at 13/8 Anytime or 9/1 to Score 2 or More tonight.

Strike partner Salah is available at the same price in both markets, while Keita – who has two goals in his last three appearances – is 11/2 to continue his own rich vein of form.

Porto will be relying on Soares to score his 15th goal of the season at 9/5. Fellow forward Marega has six goals in nine matches in this season’s Champions League and is rated a 5/2 chance.
