British team odds-on for gold in Pyeongchang

The British team will come home with a gold medal from the Winter Games, as far as our traders are concerned.
The trading department make it odds-on at 4/5 the team in Pyeongchang win one gold medal over the next few weeks.
But for optimists out there it’s a 12/1 shot that the boys and girls win 2 or 3, or even more than that.
Main hopes lie with Elise Christie in the short track speed skating, Lizzie Yarnold in the skelton and the female curling team.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The odds suggest the girls will be bringing home the gold for GB in Pyeongchang, but we’ve got our fingers and toes crossed the prices are wrong and plenty of golds are won.”
