1.25 Mumford’s Magic – Sandown

I think he will have a little squeak in this. He is one of the outsiders but I can forgive him for his last run as I ran him a bit quick and I think he is capable of running well here. We don’t go with expectations of only winning as it is very deep but I am very happy with him.

2pm Sacre Coeur – Sandown

There are no races for her for at least another three or four weeks so we thought we would turn out again here. She has been highly consistent and there is no reason why she won’t run a fine race again. She hasn’t got heaps in front of the handicapper nowadays, but she still runs very, very well.

3.10 West Balboa – Sandown

We are very happy with her. We had her in last week but the ground got very quick at Doncaster. This ground is much more like it. I know it’s a handicap but it is worth a lot of money and Tristan Durrell takes 3lbs off. She has a chance based on all of her form apart from the Longwalk at Ascot were nothing went right for her. That wasn’t her true running. Looking at all her other form, you would think she has a real chance and we are looking forward to spring targets with her going forward as well.

4.20 Pony Soprano – Sandown

He is a five-year-old and he has done loads of work. We like what we see…not necessarily as a bumper horse but we think he will make a fine horse down the road. He can run well here, but I won’t be basing his future on the result of this race. He has done loads of work and should run creditably.

3.50 Bennys King – Wetherby

It is pretty soft ground here which he will love and that should give him an even better chance. He isn’t getting any younger so he’s not going here with the hunter chasing world at his feet But he’s in good form and ran really well the last day.
