Dan Skelton: Nube Negra looks fantastic for Champion Chase tilt

Ladbrokes ambassador Dan Skelton has four runners on day two of the Cheltenham Festival and he took time out from a busy period to discuss their chances.

Galia Des Liteaux – 2.10 Brown Advisory

She will love soft conditions. She gets 7lbs for being a mare and is in very good form at home. We wouldn’t have even considered sending her for this race unless the conditions were just right. I think she has a fair chance.

Langer Dan – 2.50 Coral Cup

The conditions suit him and he is most productive in the spring each year. He will definitely have a chance as a fast run race like this will suit him. We tried to make him a graded horse this year but it didn’t quite happen. Hopefully he can land one of these big ones.

Nube Negra – 3.30 Champion Chase

He is as well as I have had him and looks fantastic. A dry Tuesday is music to his ears. He holds his form at the very top level and I am really looking forward to running him.

Third Time Lucki – 4.50 Grand Annual

He won last time and is good around the track. The ground could be a bit better for him but he is in very good form and looks fantastic. If it dries out a little he is definitely a player but he is probably a player anyway. He has run on soft before. He is in real form right now.
