Belarusian Premier League betting tips: Can Bate win three on the spin?
It’s the fifth round of the season in the Belarus Premier League, with another eight games on the way.
It’s proving to be a competitive campaign so far. Every side has been beaten at least once, and just three points separate first and 10th after four game-weeks.
There are two matches on Thursday night, but we’re focusing on Friday’s pair of games and Saturday’s four contests here.
Belshina v Smolevichi (15:30, Friday)
Friday’s opening game is a big clash at the foot of the table, with bottom-placed Belshina hosting second-bottom Smolevichi. The pair are the only two sides yet to win a match this term.
Belshina have been handed 13/10 favouritism by our traders. But they’ve conceded six goals already this season, which means 21/10 shots Smolevichi can’t be discounted.
Both sides have struggled to score goals this season, however, with just three strikes netted between them. A 0-0 draw is 5/1, while under 2.5 goals is odds-on at 4/9.
BATE v Zhodino (18:00, Saturday)
After a slow start, BATE Borisov have found their feet in recent weeks, and now seek a third win on the spin when Zhodino visit.
Their recent upswing in form sees them pitched as 2/5 favourites for this one, but Zhodino are no mugs, and they’ve won three of their opening four games to top the table early on.
Our traders have Zhodino as 13/2 outsiders, but they won this fixture last season. Could they do so again this time around?
Both sides netted in last season’s two clashes, and 6/5 says both teams score again. BATE have netted in all four league games this term too, and there’s Evens about over 2.5 goals in this one.
Belarusian Premier League Round-up
Friday’s second contest sees 4/11 shots Soligorsk host 7/1 outsiders Slutsk.
Saturday lunch-time’s game brings us FC Rukh Brest at home to FC Minsk. The hosts are 29/20 for three points, but have only scored one goal so far this season. The visitors have already fired in six goals, and are chalked up at 7/4.
And in Saturday’s other two games, FC Isloch Minsk are 21/20 to win at home to 12/5 shots Slavia Mozyr, while Brest are fancied to win away from home at 2/3 versus Vitebsk (4/1).
