Both teams to score tips for Saturday

The both teams to score tips column is coming to an end and the penultimate column covers Saturday’s matches as we look to end the year in style.

Huddersfield’s late penalty at Millwall gave us four winning tips from five selections last weekend and our latest acca can be backed at close to 14/1 as we start our picks at Carrow Road.

Click on the link for Saturday’s football acca tips which recently landed a 41/1 four-fold.

Norwich v Huddersfield

Canaries boss David Wagner faces the club he led to the Premier League seven seasons ago and his players go into the game on a high after holding arch rivals Ipswich to a 2-2 draw on Saturday which extended their unbeaten run to four games.

There have been goals at both ends in four of City’s last five outings and they smashed the Terriers 4-0 in West Yorkshire in the first few weeks of the season, so we’re expecting them to get on the scoresheet.

Town have scored and conceded in six successive matches and although they found the net just once in five of those games, that’s all we would need to land a 4/5 success as the first of our both teams to score tips.

Middlesbrough v West Brom

Staying in the Championship, Middlesbrough and West Brom to score at 8/11 looks a reasonable prospect.

Boro ended a run of three successive defeats with a 2-1 victory at Swansea last weekend, with three of their last four matches involving goals at both ends.

The Baggies’ record is the same over the same spell of games and having beaten Middlesbrough 4-2 when the teams met at The Hawthorns in August, a similar outcome would be ideal.

Reading v Wigan

Reading’s hopes of avoiding dropping into the bottom tier of English football have improved in recent weeks on the back of just one defeat in five, but for our purposes this match looks perfect for our BTTS tips.

The Royals have scored and conceded in nine successive matches and their last six home games would also have paid out, so their BTTS pedigree cannot be questioned.

As for the visitors, five of their last seven games have involved goals at both ends, including their last three away matches, and with both teams needing wins to boost their survival bid we’re on board at 7/10.

Blackpool v Bristol Rovers

The Seasiders’ League One play-off hopes suffered a setback with last week’s 2-1 defeat at Cambridge, but they are back on their home patch where their form is much more encouraging.

Interestingly, Blackpool have scored in every game at Bloomfield Road since September, a run of nine games – netting at least twice in seven of those matches.

Rovers have scored and conceded in nine of their last 10 outings and having boosted their play-off chances with a 2-1 win at promotion hopefuls Bolton over the weekend, this match gets the nod at 8/11 as the next leg of our BTTS tips.

Grimsby v Harrogate

Both teams are in the lower reaches of the League Two table and will view this match as an ideal opportunity to pull further clear of the relegation zone.

Grimsby are on a six-match unbeaten run, all of which included goals at both ends and they have scored and conceded in four successive games at Blundell Park.

Harrogate’s recent record is equally impressive, with eight of their last 10 matches paying out in both teams to score terms.

Add to the mix they have only twice failed to score on the road this season, it’s logical to add this match as the last of our both teams to score tips at 20/23.
