Keith Hill’s Rochdale to rebound in our League Two Acca

Published:

Another week, another set of fantastic League Two fixtures offering up the chance of big wins, with the trio of Burton, Rochdale and Oxford United serving up tempting odds for anyone seeking a solid Saturday afternoon treble.

Burton to beat Morecambe @ 10/11

With four wins from their last five league fixtures, Burton head into this encounter as favourites to claim another three points at home, having beaten Morecambe in both of their previous meetings at the Pirelli Stadium.

The Shrimps are hardly in the best form either, with just one win from their last four League Two matches suggesting an easy afternoon could be in store for the Brewers.

Oxford United to beat Bristol Rovers @ 3/4

Top of the table and fresh from an away win over AFC Wimbledon, Oxford have kept clean sheets in each of their last four games and there is every reason to think that can continue against Bristol Rovers.

The visitors have rarely travelled well in League Two and head to the Kassam Stadium having gone ten games without a win on the road in the fourth tier.

With former Premier League man Dave Kitson back in contention for the hosts, a home win looks assured.

Rochdale to beat AFC Wimbledon @ 4/5

Rochdale’s rapid rise up the table was halted by defeat to the similarly in-form Dagenham & Redbridge last time out, but a home encounter with the Dons could be just the ticket to get the club back on track.

AFC Wimbledon notoriously struggle for points on the road in League Two, with Neal Ardley’s team picking up just one point from the last 12 available away from Kingsmeadow.

With the Dale winning each of the last five fixtures played at Spotland, the Wombles look set to make the long journey back to London empty-handed.
