Mikel Arteta favourite for Barcelona job after Xavi quits

Mikel Arteta has emerged as the FAVOURITE in the betting for the Barcelona job, while Jurgen Klopp (8/1) is ahead of Jose Mourinho and Unai Emery according to Ladbrokes.
Following Xavi and Barca’s shock announcement on Saturday night, the bookies installed Barcelona Atletic head coach, Rafael Marquez as the second-favourite for the top job, with odds of 3/1, with Arteta slightly ahead at 5/2.
Elsewhere, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is just 8/1 as things stand, after announcing he’ll be leaving at the end of the season, joint-third favourite with Robert De Zerbi (8/1) and ahead of the likes of Unai Emery (12/1) and Ange Postecoglou (16/1).

The Barcelona job won’t be the only managerial vacancy come the end of the season, with Klopp also leaving his post as Liverpool boss once the 2023/24 campaign comes to an end.
