GAA Super Bonus Acca: Gripping Kerry v Cork replay features

Here’s the lowdown on the big matches:

KERRY to beat Cork (Munster Football Final Reply – Saturday 19:00, Live on RTE2)

These two played out a thrilling first encounter a fortnight ago but they’ll have to do it all again, much to our enjoyment.

Cork looked to have done enough to win it but a dubious penalty and a late, late score by corner back Fionn Fitzgerald gave Kerry a lifeline.

However, they played well above expectations in that initial encounter and it’s unlikely that they’ll be allowed to dominate in the same way again.

Kerry are expected to restore their stars to the starting XV and they should have enough quality to pick up yet another Munster title.

DONEGAL to beat MONAGHAN (Ulster Football Final – Sunday 14:00, Live on  RTE2)

This is the third year in a row that this pair have contested the Ulster final with Donegel holding the better recent record, beating Monaghan en route to the All Ireland final last year.

Donegal have had to come through a tough draw and looked a little flat in their semi-final victory over Derry but we still fancy them to pull through.

Monaghan have been in good form too but they’re sometimes overly reliant on star forward Conor McManus.

Expect a tight low-scoring match in Clones and Donegal to edge it by a couple of points.

TYRONE to beat Tipperary (All Ireland Football Qualifiers Series Round 3 – Saturday 15:00, Live on Sky Sports 5)

This is a repeat of the controversial All Ireland U21 final between these two counties earlier this year so expect fireworks.

Tipperary were barely tested in the previous round as they eased past Louth but Tyrone were pushed all they way before a late penalty saw them sneak past Meath.

It’s fair to say that Tipp have an excellent young team but the squad has been badly hampered by injuries in recent weeks.

And while Tyrone are far from their best at the minute their added experience will help them to a narrow victory at Semple Stadium.

GALWAY to beat Derry (All Ireland Football Qualifiers Series Round 3 – Saturday 17:00, Live on Sky Sports 5)

Galway recorded a highly impressive away victory over Armagh in the last round while Derry had a much easier task as they disposed of Wexford at home.

Added to that, the Tribesmen are looking much improved this year and in Damien Comer have one of the most in-form players in the country.

We think home advantage will be crucial in this one with Galway having just enough to get past their well-matched visitors.
