Alson trimmed to challenge Victor Ludorum in the French 2000 Guineas

Our traders have cut the odds on Alson to win Monday’s French 2000 Guineas.
Support for the three-year-old has forced our odds-crunchers to cut Alson’s price from 6/1 to 9/2 for Monday’s showdown.
Victor Ludorum has consequently drifted a touch to 2/1 from 7/4, with Ecrivain moving from 5/2 to 9/4.
In the French 1000 Guineas, the market has remained static bar a slight clip to Tropbeau at the head of the market. She is now clear favourite at 2/1 from 9/4.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “It was all about Victor Ludorum in the French 2000 Guineas this week but as of today, there has been a spike of interest in Alson.”
