Ladbrokes Players Championship: Ding Junhui and Trump boosted

It’s been an excellent week of snooker so far in the Ladbrokes Players Championship, and things should really get interesting now as we hit the latter stages.
Today’s action sees Ding Junhui take on Anthony Hamilton in the remaining quarter-final, before Ali Carter and Judd Trump take to the baize this evening for a spot in Sunday’s finale.
The Captain will be in buoyant mood after a superb 5-3 victory over former world champion Neil Robertson.

But Carter will have to be at his best once again, if he’s to see off Trump.
