Ronnie O’Sullivan rockets to clear favourite for World Snooker Championship victory to complete a Triple Crown win.

After his demolition of Pang Junxu at the 2024 World Grand Prix this week, and following his Masters title win last week, O’Sullivan is clear favourite to win the upcoming World Snooker Championship according to leading bookmaker Ladbrokes.

This year’s World Snooker Championship could see the most decorated player of all time win the one elusive award he has yet to secure. Only completed three times since the inception of the Triple Crown series in 1978, a win in the Crucible would see the Rocket claim the UK Championship, the Masters and the World title in a single season.

Currently at 10/3, O’Sullivan is ahead of other title contenders such as Judd Trump at 4/1, Mark Selby at 6/1, and Mark Allen at 12/1.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: Ronnie O’Sullivan is showing no sign of slowing down and after a brilliant start to 2024, the elusive Triple Crown is looking very much in his reach.
