League Two Accumulator: League Cup finalists among 8/1 treble

Published:

Punters should not only look to the top flight in England as a means to gain profit, and this can be proved by the upcoming round of League Two fixtures.

We’ve studied the games and aim to select three victors to bring back returns only just short of 8/1.

First up we take Bradford to beat Wycombe at 10/11, in what may be an eyebrow-raising selection to some in light of their most recent result.

Indeed, the Bantams were thrashed 4-1 in their last match, but that defeat represented their first in six, whilst they haven’t lost at Valley Parade since early February, when opposing league leaders Gillingham.

The League Cup finalists also recorded an emphatic 3-0 triumph over their visitors in the reverse fixture earlier this season, and can make it three consecutive wins over the Chairboys here.

Next, we head to the foot of the table, and side with an Accrington Stanley side in desperate need of three points at home to AFC Wimbledon.

Stanley are 6/4 shots to succeed, and in the aftermath of their 3-2 win over Barnet last time out, they can get the better of their in-form visitors.

Rock-bottom only on goal difference, the hosts know that victory will see them drag Wimbledon right back into the relegation mire, whilst boosting their own survival credentials enormously.

And they can capitalise against the league’s worst defence to ensure that this becomes a reality.

Finally, 8/11 Southend are our final picks, chosen to dispose of Plymouth at Roots Hall.

As they look to bolster their play-off hopes, the Shrimpers will welcome the visit of League Two’s worst travellers, who have won just one of the past six meetings of the pair.

Only one side has scored less goals than the Pilgrims this season, which also bodes well for Southend’s chances of triumph, considering they possess the division’s fifth-meanest defence.
