Marc Ó Sé previews round three of National Football League Division One

Ladbrokes ambassador Marc Ó Sé gives his thoughts on all four of the weekend matches from round three of the National Football League Division One.
We all know there is a big difference between league and Championship. Last year saw Kerry comfortably beat Mayo in the quarter-finals by 1-18 to 0-13. However, the league game in Tralee was a far tighter affair with Kerry only beating Mayo by one point.

Kerry beat Mayo three times last year between the league, the league final and the Championship. That will give the Kerry boys great confidence facing Mayo in Castlebar but it might also be the very thing that will lift the performance of this Mayo team.
We saw Paudie Clifford back in the Kerry jersey against Monaghan two weeks ago and the talk is that Sean O’Shea and David Clifford could make an appearance. Mayo have had two draws so far and I certainly would not rule out another one here. The draw is priced at 13/2 but having beaten Monaghan convincingly, I think there should be a good bounce in the Kerry lads. Kerry to win at 4/5.
Neither team is playing the best football at the moment and I would imagine Galway will target this game as a must win. The Tribesmen will be very disappointed with their defeat to Roscommon. Tyrone will take confidence from their win against Donegal, but taking on Galway away is a far more difficult task. The draw here is at 13/2 but I expect Galway to win at even money.
Roscommon are the team of the league so far having made it two wins out of two. This is a very tricky game to pick a winner. Armagh will find it really hard to go to Hyde Park in search of a victory because the Rossies have made it a fortress. They beat Tyrone here so that will give them great confidence taking on another strong northern team. However, we all know the quality that this Armagh team possess and I still fancy Armagh for this one at 8/11.
At the start of the year, I felt Monaghan were going down to Division 2. After seeing their display against Kerry, I won’t be changing my mind – unless something dramatic happens like Conor McManus coming back into the side.

They are taking on a Donegal side who, bar a good win against Kerry, have been very disappointing. They beat a very weak Kerry team in Ballybofey with a last-minute winner by Paddy McBrearty but they followed that up with a heavy defeat against Tyrone. With all the games this weekend, I see very little between these teams and I am going with the draw at 13/2.
