London 8/1 to see a white Christmas this year

London is unlikely to see a white Christmas this year according to our latest odds.

Unfortunately for those in the capital on Friday it’s an outside chance at 8/1 that Big Ben and Buckingham Palace sees a sprinkling of snow.

However, it’s good news for the rest of the country as it’s odds-on that any major city sees snowflakes fall, with Edinburgh (2/1) and Newcastle (2/1) the front runners with the bookies.

Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “It looks like those in the North East and Scotland can safely dream of a White Christmas this year, but for the rest of the nation it could be a fairly cloudy and average December day.”
