Prime Minister Boris Johnson to name new baby boy Wilfred?

Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds are celebrating the birth of their newborn son and the odds are already circulating on the baby’s name – with an early favourite.

Following the news that the Prime Minister has become a father again on Wednesday morning, and mother and baby are well, the bookies make Wilfred the 5/1 favourite to be the name of choice.

George and Thomas are the next monikers in the betting at 8/1 apiece, or there’s 10/1 on offer Winston gets the nod.

Further afield, Brexit is 1000/1 to be the name of their son.

Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Since Boris and Carrie announced they were expecting Wilfred had been heavily backed by punters, however, it would be remiss to rule out a baby Winston.”
