Ladbrokes presents its Premier League & FA Cup acca, with five picks from across both competitions in the English game this weekend.

It’s football galore this weekend, with games on offer for fans from both the Premier League and FA Cup, really signalling that we’re approaching the business end of the 2023/24 season.

Our acca, which can be backed at the time of writing for over 17/1, features a pick from the huge game at Old Trafford featuring Man United and Liverpool, the latter of whom are hoping to win the FA Cup as part of a historic quad.

Premier League & FA Cup acca

Erling Haaland to score v Newcastle – 4/9

No one will have been more disappointed with Man City’s draw with Liverpool than the Cityzens’ number nine, Erling Haaland.

Haaland didn’t play badly by any means, but with the exception of a mouth-watering run at Virgil van Dijk, which resulted in a rather tame shot, the big Norwegian struggled to have any real impact on the game. In what will be Man City’s first game after their draw at Anfield, they host Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium, and we’re predicting that Haaland will not only start, but also that he’ll find the back of the net in the game.

City will want to get back to winning ways and send out a statement here, with their next game after their clash with Newcastle being their match against Arsenal on March 31. Expect them to put out a rather strong starting XI, with the majority of their biggest players all involved.

Both teams to score in Luton v Nottingham Forest – 1/2

From the FA Cup to the Premier League, Luton were involved in one of the games of the season this week, where after going 3-0 up against Bournemouth, they ended up losing 4-3 to Bournemouth. A win could have taken Luton out of the relegation zone, but after losing they remain in real danger of playing Championship football next season.

Arguably, Nottingham Forest fans will have been more happy than the Bournemouth faithful after watching Luton lose 4-3 this week, as the Hatters’ loss leaves Nuno Espirito Santo’s side outside of the relegation zone, three points above Rob Edwards and co.

It’s all to play for at Kenilworth Road this week, and both teams are going to have to really go for it if they want to walk away with three points, so we’re going with both teams to score, with odds of 1/2.

Tottenham to beat Fulham – 21/20

Sticking with the Premier League, we travel to London for Tottenham’s trip to Fulham, which is their first game after thrashing Aston Villa 4-0 last week.

The win will have given Spurs a big boost in their hunt for a top four space, so much so that we’re expecting them to pick up yet another victory this weekend, this time against Fulham away from home.

While Fulham are in decent form, they’re in no danger of getting relegated, but won’t be challenging for a European place either, so Spurs will have the extra motivation in this one, which is why we’re pegging them to win.

Wolves to beat Coventry – 13/20

We head back to the FA Cup for our final two picks of our Premier League & FA Cup acca, where we’re going with Wolves to beat Coventry in their quarter-final tie this weekend, progressing to the final four as a result.

Gary O’Neil, just like he was whilst in charge of Bournemouth last season, has been one of the managers of the season after getting the Wolves job last summer. They’re in the top half of the table in the Premier League, and the former Liverpool youth coach will see a real opportunity for his Wolves to progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup here, which we’re expecting them to do.

Darwin Nunez to score v Man United – 6/4

For our final pick of this acca, we’re going with Darwin Nunez to find the back of the net for Liverpool against Man United at Old Trafford. The Uruguayan scored two goals in the Reds 7-0 trashing over their Manchester rivals last year, and we’re expecting him to find the back of the net once again.

After their FA Cup game, Liverpool don’t play again until March 31, so Jurgen Klopp will likely be playing a full-strength XI here. If that’s the case, Nunez will almost definitely start, and he’ll be aiming to find the back of the net once again.

You can back Ladbrokes’ Premier League & FA Cup acca, at the time of writing, with odds of 17.32/1.
