Wednesday’s Premier League tips: Chelsea and Spurs in action

Harry Kane - England

The scrap for a top-four place got a whole lot more interesting following Manchester United’s loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers last night.

It’s the turn of both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to stake their claims tonight.

There’s a huge evening for Spurs who entertain Crystal Palace at their brand, spanking new stadium, while Brighton and Hove Albion travel to Stamford Bridge.

If you fancy a look at Manchester City’s chances, then there’s a rundown of their match against Cardiff City here.

But stick around as we delve into the duo of ties in the capital tonight.

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

Tottenham will hope the first game in their new home can re-ignite their season, after dropping from title challengers to top-four contenders.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looks impressive, but will need Champions League football for the club to really excel.

Mauricio Pochettino may shuffle his pack and give Son Heung-Min a start, it’s 7/5 for Son to bag in a Lilywhites win.

Harry Kane hasn’t scored in a Spurs league win since New Year’s Day. But you can find the England captain at 8/11 anytime.

Palace did beat today’s opponents in the FA Cup. You can net an away win at 11/2, with a draw at 17/5.

Luka Milivojevic has only missed two penalties for his side and is 4/1 to bag, with team-mate Michy Batshuayi at 14/5 anytime.

Both sides have exciting attacking line-ups which could see this one turn into a goal-fest. Over 3.5 Goals in the match is 6/4 or Over 3.5 Goals in a Tottenham victory is 23/10.

Chelsea v Brighton and Hove Albion

Chelsea host Brighton at Stamford Bridge with a win at 2/7 that would see them leap-frog Man United.

Brighton are dangerous from set-pieces but do have an FA Cup semi-final just three days away. A Chelsea win with both teams to score at 12/5 could be worth a second look.

The home fans are crying out for starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi to get a start. You can get the 18-year-old at 9/2 to open the scoring.

Eden Hazard looks set to return to the starting line-up here and is 11/10 to notch in a Chelsea win.

The Seagulls are firmly in a relegation battle but are 11/1 to win and go eight points clear of the bottom three.

In the goalscoring market Glenn Murray is 14/5 to bag, with fellow forward Florin Andone at 10/3 to bag his sixth goal of the season.

Chelsea to edge this one with Over 2.5 Goals in the game at 19/20.
