Nottingham Forest and Leeds both yet to get off the mark

Last season’s play-off semi-finalists started far sharper and were ahead within nine minutes courtesy of Dexter Blackstock but their threat diminished after Lloyd Sam equalised later in the half.
The hosts can take comfort from the memory of last season, when they had just seven points after eight games yet improved to challenge for automatic promotion, whereas Leeds are traditionally quick off the mark.
The last time the Whites picked up just one point in their first two games was in a relegation campaign – when they dropped out of the Premier League in 2003-04.
Nottingham Forest and Leeds – 9/1 and 20/1 to win the title respectively – are in good company though in awaiting a first victory, with predicted promotion challengers Middlesbrough, Leicester, Reading, Bristol City and Sheffield United all also on one point.
