Bellamy fired up to make scoring return at Newcastle
Published:Craig Bellamy will return for Liverpool’s trip to Newcastle this weekend after a four-game absence, and he will hope to restore a much-needed cutting edge to the Reds attack by scoring at any time at 7/4.
Liverpool have desperately missed the Welsh forward’s pace and trickery, whilst the incision in front of goal that has seen him notch nine times this season has also been an unwelcome absentee.
Bellamy is priced at 6/1 to open the scoring at St. James’s Park on Sunday, and Ladbrokes will refund losing first scorer bets if the Welshman finds the net at any time.
With him hitting a brace during the reverse fixture at Anfield earlier in the season, Bellamy has already proved his credentials against his former club and so it is worth placing a first scorer bet on Sunday’s clash.
Demba Ba is 5/1 favourite to add to his 16 seasonal strikes with the opener, whilst Andy Carroll is the same price to break the deadlock on his first return to the ground where he was once idolised.
