Four Championship managers kick off at their new clubs with a win

And the most smug of the lot will be Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway, who watched from the stands at his side won 2-0 against Blackburn to make long odds of 12/1 to win the league tempting.
Olly left Blackpool – currently in 16th place – to take over at the Selhurst Park outfit who will sit third when he takes his first training session at the South London club.

Up in Bolton, the man who left the Eagles to take the top job at the Trotters also enjoyed the perfect beginning to his tenure.

Bolton are way down the league in 17th, but if the Glaswegian can get the relegated Premier League club firing like this they have a similarly priced outside chance of title success at 12/1.
It is better of thinking about the division in terms of points and not positions, such is its competitiveness, with only eight points separating Cardiff at the top and Bolton toward the bottom.
Mick McCarthy’s first game in charge of Ipswich Town went as well as it conceivably could , with an away win secured at Birmingham thanks to an early DJ Campbell goal.
