Leyton Orient to beat Bristol City @ 13/10

Table-toppers Leyton Orient have taken maximum points from their last two away days and they look a shade of value to secure a hat-trick of victories on the road at the expense of an unreliable Bristol City side.

The West Country outfit are still languishing in the relegation places after a dreadful start to the season and despite achieving their first back-to-back wins at the beginning of the month they remain fragile at home in the league and must be opposed.

Last week’s 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United at Ashton Gate was already their fourth loss in front of their own fans in the division this term and it’s difficult to envisage how they will keep the visitors, who have scored eight in their last three away from Brisbane Road, at bay.

Bradford to beat Notts County @ 8/11

Last weekend’s last-gasp winner at Milton Keynes has propelled Bradford into the play-off places and they look set to consolidate that position against a woefully out of form Notts County.

Whilst Phil Parkinson’s side were arresting a slump which saw them claim only two points from the last 18 available to them in Buckinghamshire, Shaun Derry’s men were losing their fifth match in a row.

This woeful run has left them rooted to the bottom of the table and they may have to wait until they return home before turning the tanker around.

Most worrying for the away team is the dearth of goals, with only one scored in their last three, whereas their opponents have had no such problem with six notched in their last two – a statistical contrast that may be too much for the Magpies to overcome and for investors to ignore.

Wolves and Tranmere to draw @ 3/1

Wolves sit only a point behind leaders Leyton Orient in League One and with The O’s playing away many will be supporting them to move top of the pile by the end of play this evening.

However, despite Wolves going undefeated in the league in their last ten games, collecting a handsome 24 points en route, there is reason to believe that they won’t have it all their own way in the West Midlands.

Opponents Tranmere are only two points north of the trap door places at present but they have shown in recent weeks the type of resilience that could guarantee their survival if maintained.

Since getting trounced at home by the division’s pace setters in the middle of October they haven’t suffered defeat in their next six games, picking up priceless wins over Milton Keynes and last week on the road to Coventry. The Rovers were 4-0 up against one of the league’s form sides just after half-time and were displaying all the hallmarks of a team very much on the up.

Securing consecutive victories against two of the division’s most dangerous teams may be too much to ask but getting a point is well within range. Wolves have drawn two of their last four whilst Tranmere have been involved in a stalemate in three of their last six.
