Ipswich can continue their late surge towards the play-offs

| 29.03.2014

It’s not just the Premier League title race which is set for an exciting finish this season with the battle to join the English top flight full of thrills and spills!

The race for the play-offs is really capturing the imagination with Ipswich finding their form at just the right time and they are the cornerstone of this week’s Championship treble.

Throw in Derby and QPR to make a multiple at just over 5/1 which returns £55.80 for those customers staking £10.

What’s more, if you want to take advantage of Ladbrokes’ accumulator offer One Out! Our Shout!* why not add Burnley (13/8) and Wigan (6/4) to make a five-fold at odds of over 36/1? That means that if one selection lets your acca down the bookmaker will refund your stake as a free bet.

Ipswich to beat Nottingham Forest @ 6/5

Ipswich are piling on the pressure in the race to secure a play-off berth after victories over promotion rivals Brighton and Derby.

Mick McCarthy’s side can continue their charge for the top six against a manager-less Nottingham Forest side, who are without a win in nine Championship matches.

The Reds are also in poor form on the road and with the Tractor Boys suffering just one defeat in their last six at Portman Road, all the signs point to another win for the Blues.

Derby to beat Charlton @ 8/13

Steve McLaren’s side slumped to a disappointing 2-1 defeat away at Ipswich last time out but can bounce back in front of their home fans against Charlton.

Derby were rampant last weekend at Pride Park as they swept aside Nottingham Forest 5-0, while Charlton also tasted  victory against the Reds in a much tighter affair in midweek.

With the race for the play-offs hotting up the Rams cannot afford any slip-ups here and we are not expecting anything but three points for the Derby faithful.

QPR to beat Blackpool @ 4/7

Dark clouds were beginning to circulate around Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road but back-to-back wins against Middlesbrough and Wigan have lifted the gloom.

And QPR now have the perfect opportunity to make it three wins on the bounce when Blackpool, who have suffered 11 defeats from their last 12 games in all competitions away from home, head to west London.

The Tangerines have not won at Loftus Road since 1972 and Redknapp’s men can inflict more away misery on Barry Ferguson’s side.
