At home is the place to ‘B’ in the Championship this weekend

Backers looking for big bets this weekend should lump on Bournemouth, Burnley and Birmingham in order to boost their wallets.

All three sides are playing at home and look good to pick up maximum points against Nottingham Forest, Ipswich and Leeds respectively.

At odds of over 8/1 a £10 stake on this trio could return a tasty £99.27.

Bournemouth to beat Nottingham Forest @ 11/10

The 11th-placed Cherries’ play-off dream has faded somewhat in recent weeks but the Dean Court outfit are still in the hunt and can take a giant step toward the final spot with a win over 8th-placed Forest.

Eddie Howe’s men have struggled for wins of late but with just one loss from their last eight and three wins  from four in front of their own fans they can look forward to victory over a Forest side that has won just once in seven away days.

Burnely to beat Ipswich @ 5/4

Burnley have already secured their return to the top flight but if any manager in the league is to insist on maximum effort to the very end it is Sean Dyche.

This will not please the travelling Ipswich fans who will see their playoff hopes all but die with a defeat here.

But, with Burnley losing just two of 25 at home and winning their last two meetings without conceding a goal this looks the most likely outcome.

Birmingham to beat Leeds @ 11/10

With no wins from 16 games at St Andrews it is no surprise to see Birmingham on the brink of relegation.

The Blues are above the drop zone on goal difference alone but should be backed to take a step toward safety against a Leeds side with nothing to play for and in shocking form themselves.

Brian McDermott’s men have won just once in eight away games and with Brum losing just one of the last seven home games with this weekend’s opponents Leeds look set to go home empty handed once more.
