Wigan and Bayern Munich make our Tuesday night accumulator

Published:

As the season draws to a close, here at Ladbrokes Towers we are pulling out all the stops to keep bringing you the kind of accumulator action dreams are made of.

This midweek effort takes in the football hubs of London, Munich, Birmingham, Manchester and Crawley as part of a fabulous fivefold paying odds of just under 43/1!

Best of all, by backing these selections you will also be eligible for our One Out? Our Shout! offer whereby, should one of the five fail to win, we will refund your original stake as a free bet.*

Bayern Munich to beat Real Madrid @ 3/4

Madrid may take a 1-0 first-leg advantage to the Allianz Arena but it’s Bayern who should still be backed to get a win on the night having won 15 of their last 18 at the ground in the Champions League – not including their 2012 final defeat to Chelsea of course.

Real’s record away from home against the Bavarians suggests the Munich giants should be backed too, with Los Blancos losing on four of their last five trips to the German capital.

Charlton to beat Watford @ 6/5

Watford may sit higher up the Championship standings but with the Hornets no longer harbouring hopes of reaching the play-offs following back-to-back losses against Queens Park Rangers and Derby County, the onus is on Charlton to get a result.

The Addicks are just two points clear of the relegation zone and will know that victory at The Valley will see them safe for another season. Having claimed a 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road earlier in the campaign, the hosts could be in line for all three points.

Wigan to beat Birmingham City @ 19/20

Birmingham are another team in desperate need of points and while opponents Wigan are hardly in the best of form either, the Latics will be keen to seal a play-off spot with victory over a Blues team that has lost four on the bounce heading into this encounter.

Prior to a recent run of one point from their last three on the road, Wigan had won six in a row away from home and with those two recent defeats coming to QPR and Burnley, Uwe Rosler’s team should have enough to see off Brum.

Crawley to beat Carlisle @ 6/5

After a brief flirtation with the drop, Crawley moved clear of the relegation places with a couple of crucial wins and, though they are now safe, look set to put the final nail in the coffin of a sorry Carlisle.

John Gregory’s side have been in great form at the Checkatrade.com Stadium, with back-to-back wins going into this encounter and victories over Wolves and Leyton Orient to their name at the ground. Carlisle, meanwhile, have picked up one point from their last six.

Sheffield United to beat Oldham @ 8/5

While neither side has much to play for Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough will be keen to build some momentum ahead of next season, when the Blades will be among the favourites to go up.

Two cup runs may have scuppered their play-off plans this term, but United remain difficult to beat on the road, losing just one of their last eight away from Bramall Lane and should be backed to turn over an Oldham side with one win from their last six at home.
