Generous John has certainly lived up to his name to reveal who he is picking, and has shared a bit of info on his squad with us…

“In goal I’ve gone with Thibault Courtois. The big man had a blinding season last year and managed 17 clean sheets in the league. This lad will pick up the points, trust me,” our man John said.

“In the centre of defence i’m going with arguably two of the best centre halves around, Laurent Koscielny was a massive presence for the Gunners last year and showed his quality after returning from injury, and was a catalyst for the solid end of season run.

“Vincent Kompany didn’t have the best of years but I’ve got faith this lad will step up and show just how good he is.

“Attack is the best form of defence and I’ve got two lads that know all about that. Cesar Azpilicueta was part of Chelsea’s title winning squad last year, and while the Spaniard isn’t known for his goal-scoring abilities I’m relying on him to chip in with the assists. Leighton Baines is Mr Consistent when it comes to Fantasy Football. The lad’s got an eye for goal and doesn’t do too bad providing the assists, he’ll get guaranteed points.

“Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s looked like a man with a point to prove in pre-season. I’ve been telling the other lads that if he can stay injury free he’ll have a good year.

“Yannick Bolasie joins this midfield party. The Palace man is more than just a one-trick pony and that was evident with his hat-trick against Sunderland last year. To complete my midfield three I’ve gone with Phillipe Coutinho. The little Brazilian really stepped it up last year and bagged me some serious points, he’s not only integral to Liverpool’s season but mine if i’m going to finish above the others.

“I’ll share this one with you but keep it to yourselves, Olivier Giroud was in my team last year and i’m confident the big man can finally join the elite by bagging himself 20 league goals. Christian Benteke’s the new number nine at Liverpool and has come with a hefty price tag, if he can bring his end of season form to Liverpool he’ll be a massive hit.

“Not having Harry Kane in the team would be criminal, he finished as the highest scoring Englishman and i’m expecting more of the same from the Spurs man.”
