Las Vegas Winner: Ladbrokes trip was mind-blowing

Ladbrokes recently took a group of lucky punters on a trip Stateside as part of a new series of in-store promotions and one lucky winner has described the holiday as a “once in a lifetime” experience.
Genci Mitllari from Arbroath was one of 24 lucky winners who were given two tickets to Las Vegas simply for signing up to The Grid and placing a bet in his local Ladbrokes store and the Scot has said he will be forever thankful to the bookmaker for the “mind-blowing” trip.
“We did everything you can imagine possible in Las Vegas. We went to Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and saw all the major casinos,” he explained.
“We also went on a helicopter day trip to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, which was amazing. It was a once in a lifetime experience, simply stunning.”
Mr Mitllari also went for a spin on Las Vegas’ equivalent of the London Eye and explained that the views of the strip were spectacular.
Winners were also treated to a slap-up meal, described by Mitllari as the “best ever” and tickets to see legendary illusionist David Copperfield.
“The Copperfield show was simply breathtaking. I can’t recommend one of his shows highly enough. I’ll be forever thankful to Ladbrokes for this trip,” he added.
The best part of the trip though? That would have to be the fountain display outside the famous Bellagio Hotel and Casino, according to this winner.
Mitllari did have one gripe about Las Vegas, however, and that was the fact that the casino’s slot machines were nowhere near as generous as those he’s used to playing.
“We didn’t see one person win a penny on the slots. When I play at Ladbrokes in Arbroath you always win something, even if it’s just a little win, but the chances of landing a prize in Vegas seemed much lower by comparison,” he added.
