Millwall set to book Wembley date with victory over Bradford City

Published:

Millwall have one foot in the League One play-off final following Sunday’s impressive 3-1 defeat of Bradford City, and the Lions look set to secure their spot at Wembley in style, with another win over the Bantams tonight.

Neil Harris’ men have taken 19 points from their last eight home games, scoring 16 times and conceding just once in the process.

Their record against today’s opposition is similarly impressive, with Bradford having never won at the Den in seven previous visits.

The visitors did manage a 0-0 draw here in October, but considering the Lions have scored in each of their last seven games, a Bantams clean sheet looks very unlikely.

A recent wobble on the road also bodes poorly for the West Yorkshire outfit tonight, who have won just two of the last six on their travels, scoring a meagre two goals in that period.

The home side also boast a goalscorer who has been in magnificent form in 2016. Former Halifax Town striker Lee Gregory has netted in 14 of his 23 appearances in this calendar year, as well as scoring the final goal in 11 games this season.

That means there could be lots of value in backing the 27-year-old to score anytime (6/4) and to be last goalscorer (4/1) in this clash.

Backing Millwall at 23/20 looks to be the best match bet with Bradford 23/10 for victory on the night, and the same price for a stalemate.

The Lions 3-1 win at Valley Parade was their seventh victory of the season by that scoreline, so odds of 16/1 on the hosts repeating that result could prove very popular.

Those expecting Millwall to triumph in a high-scoring clash can enjoy our fantastic price boost, Millwall to win and both teams to score was 10/3 NOW 4/1.
