Paul Hartley - Dundee - Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month

Dundee boss Paul Hartley has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month for February.

The Dark Blues took eight points from four games in an unbeaten month, including a 2-1 defeat of Rangers at Dens Park and a 5-1 demolition of Motherwell at Fir Park.

February began with a pair of entertaining draws against Inverness Caledonian Thistle (2-2) and Kilmarnock (1-1), before those two impressive victories.

Their subsequent 2-1 success marked the first time Dundee had beaten Rangers since March 2001 while Hartley’s side were arguably even more impressive in their demolition job of The Steelmen.

Louis Moult had equalised for the home side on 22 minutes but Dundee weren’t to be denied.

A brace from Mark Haber and goals from Mark O’Hara and Craig Wighton put the visitors out of sight by half-time, completing the biggest away win in the Premiership this season.

And those performances have rightly been recognised by the panel with Hartley taking the plaudits for his team’s impressive run of form.

Next up for Dundee is a trip to St. Johnstone this Saturday with the away side priced at 16/5 to take all three points in Perth with Saints 10/11 favourites and the draw a 23/10 shot.
