ICYMI: Dundee continue to climb after beating Motherwell

Paul Hartley - Dundee

Dundee secured their first home win of the season and climbed off the bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership table in the process after beating Motherwell on Saturday afternoon.

Craig Wighton was the star of the show but the result could’ve been very different had Well’s goal shout gone in their favour.

The visitors believed the ball had crossed the line when Dark Blues goalkeeper David Mitchell collided with a post when grasping for Scott McDonald’s cross.

However, Paul Hartley’s side seized the initiative from thereon in with Cammy Kerr following-up Wighton’s saved shot to put Dundee ahead after 40 minutes.

Wighton turned provider again when cutting back for Marcus Haber to side-foot home and secure the three points.

Here’s the best of the action…
