Like every other week in this Premier League Darts campaign, we’re back with an accumulator which our traders have generously boosted. And this time, we’ve got a 22/1 four-fold for you to get behind.
Gary Anderson and Michael Van Gerwen were the only two players to let us down last week. The former was outscored on the 180 front by Raymond van Barneveld in Rotterdam, while Mighty Mike failed to record a checkout over 121.5.
MVG is in action in the first match of the night though in Manchester, and we’re hoping he doesn’t let us down this time out.
In every week so far, the world number one has been forced to play out at least 11 legs, meaning there’s plenty of value in the 11/10 for this one to go over 10.5 legs, especially against a player in James Wade who’s made a career out of pulling out performances against the best in the world.
His opponent has also seen six of his seven previous matches go over 10.5 legs, so we reckon this one is a banker.
But we’re taking a risk with our next selection.
Kim Huybrechts faces an out-of-form Gary Anderson, and we’re fancying the Belgian to nick something from the two-time world champ – especially when you look at the recent history between this pair.
Despite being some 10 places ahead of Huybrechts in the PDC Order of Merit, Anderson has lost three of his last four meetings with the Belgian. And at 2/1, we reckon our traders have missed a trick in the Double Chance market for Huybrechts to win or draw.
On paper, Anderson should win this one with no problems whatsoever. But the Scotsman is off his game right now, and this is a format which doesn’t allow players to get into their stride.
Then we have probably the game of the night, as Peter Wright will test himself against Phil Taylor, who has lost his last two matches and finds himself in sixth place in the table.
Snakebite has been in exceptional form of late and sits at the top of the table with odds of 9/2 to win the Premier League.
But having said that, the Power presents him with probably his toughest opponent in recent weeks, so it’ll be a real test of how far Wright has come. But the manner of Taylor’s defeats in the last two weeks means we can only side with one man here at 10/11 – and it’s not the six-time Premier League winner.
That leaves us with just one more leg, concerning Adrian Lewis and Jelle Klassen.
The Cobra has to win this one to stand any chance of staying in the competition, and with that in mind we’re steering clear of the Match Betting market here.
Even though Jackpot is the 8/15 favourite to win this race to seven legs, we’d hardly be surprised to see Klassen cause an upset, so we turn our attentions elsewhere.
While both players are well-known for their ability to throw maximums for fun, the Dutchman’s 180s have dried up somewhat in recent weeks. He’s hit just four to Lewis’ 17 in his last three outings, so the value has to be on the 8/11 man from Stoke coming out on top in the maximum market.
