Luke Littler joint-favourite to win UK Open after impressive Premier League showing

Luke Littler is the joint-favourite to win Ladbrokes PDC UK Open after impressive showing in night five of the Premier League yesterday, where he reached the semi-final.
The teenage sensation, who won over fans with his incredible run to the final at the Darts World Championship in December and January, is 6/1 to win the UK Open according to Ladbrokes, the tournament sponsors. Littler is tied with Michael van Gerwen, with the Dutchman also at 6/1.
Both men, as well as the other highest-ranked players won’t enter the tournament until the fourth-round, which culminates in Butlins on Sunday. Below is the complete list of the names who won’t be officially entering the tournament until the latter stages.

However, it was Andrew Gilding who shocked the darts world by beating MVG to win the tournament last year to win his share of the staggering £600,000 prize money, with the same figure being up for grabs this year.

The Ladbrokes UK Open kicks off today (Friday, March 1) and continues onto Sunday (March 3). Afternoon sessions kick off at 11:45am GMT, with the evening sessions starting at 7pm GMT. Fans will be able to watch the action on ITV3 and ITV4, whilst the action will also be streamed on ITVX.
