Chelsea new 6/4 favs to sign Lewandowski; but Morata could exit

Chelsea fans could see a new striking sensation unveiled at Stamford Bridge this summer, with the West London club now favourites to sign Robert Lewandowski.
The Bayern Munich star has emerged as a firm target for the Blues, and our traders now reckon they’re 6/4 frontrunners for his signature.
If Chelsea do manage to get their hands on the former Champions League winner, that could trigger an exit for Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard has failed to impress at the Bridge so far, as is 6/4 to leave this summer.
Elsewhere in the Lewandowski market, previous favourites Real Madrid have drifted to 2/1 to sign the 29-year-old, while it’s 5/2 he joins Manchester United.
Meanwhile, there’s 8/1 apiece on the Polish hitman making his way to either Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain in the summer 2018 window.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Morata has failed to set the Premier League alight and it looks likely Chelsea will turn to Lewandowski and cut ties with their record signing this summer.”
Next up for the Blues is a visit to Man City this weekend, with 21/5 for a Chelsea win. That one will be decided by Sunday evening, but the tussle for Lewandowski is only just beginning…
