The Beast from the East and Storm Emma have made it a long old week, but Saturday and the football are in sight.

With sport up and down the land taking a hammering this week due to the weather, we’ve got our fingers crossed that the majority of the weekend footy can go ahead.

The Ladbrokes News Team are cracking on with their tips for the weekend.

Here’s who we’re going for…

Richard Marsh

Aston Villa to beat QPR – 3/4

The Villans beat Sheffield Wednesday 4-2 last week and it’s full steam ahead for Steve Bruce’s men.

It’s one defeat in ten for Villa now and they’ll fancy themselves at home to a Queens Park Rangers side which has produced only two away wins this season.

Cian Carroll

Bristol City to beat Sheffield Wednesday – 8/11

It’s about time Bristol City got back to winning ways after a pretty poor run of form. Sheffield Wednesday are the visitors to Ashton Gate on Saturday and the Owls are in the midst of their own difficult patch.

They’re still without a host of first-team regulars and were dumped out of the FA Cup in midweek by Swansea City.

Bristol City have a great record against the Yorkshire outfit too. The Robins have lost just two of the last 14 encounters with Wednesday. And they’ll fancy their chances of getting a vital win in this.

Dave Burin

Leicester to beat Bournemouth – 4/5

The Foxes are unbeaten in seven at the King Power Stadium, winning four of those.

As for the visiting Cherries, they’ve won just one of 10 on the road ahead of this game. Their last away trip saw a 4-1 mauling by Huddersfield Town.

Factor in that Bournemouth have never won at this ground, and it’s hard to see past Leicester doing the business again.

Dan Anwar

Watford to beat West Bromwich Albion – 21/20

Will this be the end of the road for Alan Pardew at West Brom? The Baggies are seven points adrift at the bottom of the table and on a run of five straight defeats.

Watford have looked very good at Vicarage Road under Javi Gracia. They could make it four home wins on the bounce here.

Nick Murphy

Millwall to beat Sunderland – 4/6

Neil Harris has done an incredible job at The Den.

The Lions’ hero has guided the South Londoners to three straight wins and to within touching distance of the play-off places.

They’ve not lost at home since November and should make light work of a Sunderland side winless in six.

So there we go. This Saturday’s selections are Leicester/Watford/Aston Villa/Bristol City and Millwall all to win!
