Burnley v Chelsea: Will Clarets’ top-six march continue?

Sean Dyche, Premier League odds, Everton next manager odds

Burnley have had a superb campaign so far. And it could get even better if they beat Chelsea tonight.

Victory would see Sean Dyche’s team do the double over Chelsea this term and climb above Arsenal into sixth-place. But the odds suggest they’re up against it.

We have a Burnley home win at 16/5, with Chelsea 10/11 favourites. The draw is 23/10.

Burnley come into this one in better form though. They’ve racked up five straight wins.

Chelsea have only won three of their last nine league games. All three of those wins came against sides battling relegation.  Antonio Conte could rotate his side ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final too.

Burnley or Draw is 17/20.

Dyche and Conte like their teams to be well-drilled and solid defensively. But five of the seven previous Premier League meetings between these clubs have produced at least three goals. Over 2.5 Goals is 23/20.

Olivier Giroud could get on the scoresheet. His two goals from the bench last weekend may have earned him a start here. The former Arsenal striker is 7/2 to score first.

Ashley Barnes looks like Burnley’s main goal threat. He’s 11/5 to score anytime after bagging four goals in six league games.
