West Bromwich Albion caretaker boss Darren Moore has boosted his chances of getting the job on a permanent basis after the club’s 1-0 win over Manchester United.

The Baggies’ have picked up four points from two league games under Moore.

The former West Brom centre-back is now 6/1 to get the nod to take over full-time (was 12/1).

Mick McCarthy remains the 2/1 favourite, with Patrick Kluivert at 5/1.

West Brom are currently bottom of the Premier League. They’re nine points from safety with four games to play.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Baggies fans must be wondering what might’ve been had Big Dave have taken over a month or two back – but if the latest odds are anything to go by, they could be seeing more of Moore next season.”
