Fernando Torres could be set to reunite with Rafa Benitez at Newcastle this summer, according to our latest odds.
Torres is out of contract at Atletico Madrid at the end of the season. He’s confirmed he won’t sign for another club in Spain. And he’s 5/1 to head to St. James’ Park.
The veteran striker was sensational while playing under Benitez at Liverpool.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “His best years may well be behind him, but signing Torres would be a huge statement from Rafa at Newcastle and it’s something we’re not ruling out just yet.”
The Magpies are currently 10th in the Premier League table. They could climb even higher in the remaining weeks of the campaign.
