Deadline Day. They often say it’s the gift that keeps on giving, but all the big deals are still yet to present themselves.

Lucas Perez has swapped North London for East as he made his move from Arsenal to West Ham.

But aside from the Hammers’ nifty Fantasy Football unveiling – the innovative social media reveals have been few and far between so far.

We take you through the comings and goings of the Deadline Day and crucially what could go through after the 5pm deadline…

Lucas Perez irons out move

West Ham United have finally landed Lucas Perez and put their striker search to bed.

The Irons have had a productive window but and the £4 million signing of the Spaniard is the icing on the cake.

Their topical take on the Premier League’s fantasy football game may have won Deadline Day twitter – so far!

Leander Dendoncker joins the Wolf pack

Wolves haven’t left fifth gear in the transfer window this summer. The sought-after Dendoncker becomes their twelfth signing and is yet another statement of intent from the club.

The Anderlecht man has joined on an initial loan deal with a view to making it a permanent transfer at the end of the season.

Changing rooms!

Mateo Kovacic and Thibaut Courtois have traded places as the clock ticks towards the deadline.

Courtois was found shopping in a Spar in Tenerife as he tried to force through his move to Real Madrid.

The £35 million signing of the Belgian has seen World Cup finalist Mateo Kovacic head to Chelsea on a year’s loan.

Ayew on the move again

Jordan Ayew doesn’t seem to stay at a club for too long these days.

The 26-year-old has now penned a loan-deal with Crystal Palace as he returns to the Premier League with a different club for the third time in three seasons.

After losing Ruben Loftus-Cheek this will add some thrust to Palace’s attack once again.

Bernard’s watch…

With the clock ticking down Everton dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s on a deal for free agent Bernard.

The Brazilian had been a stand-out for Shakhtar Donetsk before leaving at the end of last season.

It could be the first of many as we go on into the evening at Goodison Park with Yerry Mina also confirmed for £28.5m from Barcelona.

One’s to watch out for

As always deals don’t always officially get over the line until after transfer window closes. This year is no different with a handful of clubs still locked in negotiations.

Fulham are looking to wrap up deals for Andre Zambo Anguissa, Joe Bryan, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and goalkeeper Sergio Rico before the end of the day.

Cardiff City have done some business and will hope to announce Harry Arter alongside Victor Camarasa from Real Betis.

Newcastle United are close to signing Swansea City defender Federico Fernandez, while Leicester City may yet sign young defender Caglar Soyuncu after announcing centre-back Filip Benkovic.

Danny Rose has been linked with a switch to Schalke and is reportedly keen on a move to the continent.

West Ham’s Reece Oxford has until the end of August to seal a move to the Bundesliga.
