A thrilling 2018 Ladbrokes Players Championship culminated in Daryl Gurney claiming his second PDC major title with an 11-9 victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final.

The Northern Irishman beat Robert Thornton, Ryan Searle, Brendan Dolan, Chris Dobey and Danny Noppert on his way to victory in Minehead.
